Magellan is Binalyze's enterprise eDiscovery capability integrated directly into the AIR platform. Unlike traditional forensic searches that rely primarily on filenames, metadata, or indexed repositories, Magellan performs full-text searches across endpoint data to identify the actual contents of documents, emails, archives, and other user-created files during an investigation.

The platform enables investigators to remotely search large numbers of endpoints for keywords, phrases, regular expressions, and other content-based indicators without requiring a complete forensic acquisition of every system. This allows organizations to quickly identify evidence relevant to insider threats, business email compromise, intellectual property theft, compliance inquiries, and legal investigations.

Magellan is particularly valuable for organizations where investigators need to determine not only that a file exists, but what is inside it.
